Zala Pogorelcnik is a Senior Associate at Salamander.

Zala has been living in APAC since 2006, spending most of her time between Singapore and Indonesia. She has held C-suite and regional VP/Director positions at PrecisionHawk, Drop Emissions, Infinium Robotics and SaraRasa Biomass.

She has worked with four startup ventures all in different stages, from pre- seed to late B stage. In her roles, she has led commercial-scale renewable energy projects, APAC enterprise SaaS sales and established a decarbonization firm in Singapore. Zala excels in fostering growth and organizing internal processes, promoting sustainability, and building strong client and stakeholder relationships.

Zala holds a BSc in Statistics (Informatics) from University of Ljubljana, Slovenia and a double Masters in International Business and International Relations from Bond University, Australia. She speaks several languages, and splits her time between Singapore and Finland.
