Mike Amour is a co-founder of Salamander, and also leads its Chief Marketing Officer as a Service (CMOaaS) practice.

Mike has been in Singapore and Jakarta since 2005, successfully leading the transformation and organic/inorganic growth of top global marketing and media agency networks as Chairman/CEO Asia Pacific, including Grey Group, Starcom Mediavest Group and Havas Group. Previously he held various executive leadership roles in London, New York, Paris and Tokyo.

He has advised multiple Fortune 500 companies on their marketing and brand communications. He has extensive, hands on experience in mentoring the owners of start-ups and SMEs in Asia, helping clarify their core business value proposition and narrative, so as to unlock new opportunities to scale and attract investment.

Mike holds a BA in Business Law from Stirling University in Scotland, and has dual UK and Swiss nationalities. He is also a Permanent Resident of Singapore, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates.
