With over 20 years' experience in Asia, Florian worked nearly 10 years in private markets advisory: he led a capital markets team, held board positions at family offices, and advised venture capital funds, as well as various start-ups and SMEs on capital allocation, capital raising, corporate finance, strategy, and sustainability

Most recently, he was Chief Financial Officer at Cantier Systems, a smart manufacturing software solution provider, Executive Director for Investment for an institutional platform focused on social infrastructure in Australia and New Zealand, and board advisor of a venture studio focused on decentralized decarbonisation technologies. Prior to that, Florian held regional roles in a variety of industries from consulting, healthcare, publishing to real estate development. Florian co-founded several entrepreneurial ventures over the years: a SaaS company, a book production company, a telecom equipment business, and a marketing consultancy firm.

Florian holds a Global BBA from ESSEC and a dual Executive MBA with INSEAD and Tsinghua School of Economics and Management.
